What stays the same
- Your products, prices and Subscribe & save discounts (monthly, every 2 months or every 3 months).
- Each subscriber’s saved payment method, next billing date, shipping address and price.
- Customer portal links for your existing subscribers.
- Klaviyo events, so your flows keep running (connect your Klaviyo key in Settings › Integrations).
How to move, step by step
- Install ZS Subscriptions from the Shopify App Store and choose a plan.
- Export your subscriptions from Seal as a CSV file (Seal’s own export).
- Import the CSV in ZS Subscriptions. Cancelled subscriptions are skipped automatically, and running the same file twice creates no duplicates.
- Check a few subscribers against Seal: price, interval, address and next billing date.
- Cancel the Seal subscriptions on the same day you import, so nobody is charged by both apps.
- Uninstall Seal once you are happy. Your product pages keep working with ZS.
Questions merchants ask
No. Their saved payment method comes across with the subscription, so the next charge runs as normal.
Paused subscriptions are imported as paused. If Seal had no next billing date for them, ZS sets one a cycle from the day of import, so they resume normally when the customer restarts them.
Yes. Our plans are priced about 60% below Seal’s for the same subscriber limit. For example, the 500-subscription plan is US$9.95 a month with ZS, against US$24.95 for the same limit on Seal’s Legend plan. Annual billing is cheaper still.
Yes. The demo store shows the product page, the cart and the customer portal with sample subscriptions, without any purchase. Use the “Customer portal” link in its menu to see the portal.
